GARDENS

Our gardens offer organic and truganic vegetables and herbs. We have two cold-frames and a greenhouse coming soon. We intend to be sustainable and provide food that is pure, prana-filled, mineral and vitamin rich, radiation-free, pesticide and herbicide -free, and grown with love for all beings. This food will be for the elves who live at Heartwood, and for use in some of our workshops and dining, as well as for our school and camp.

Our Garden Keeper is a magical grower who works with the natural inclinations of the earth, honours the earth elementals, and tends the growth of life with love, skill, humour, originality, and compassion. Bio-dynamic, organic, natural, and truganic sustainable methods are used with an emphasis on an ecosystem that sustains itself as much as possible.

In the winter we will have a small amount of surplus vegetables – if you are interested in purchasing from us this winter, please email our Garden Keeper at gardenkeeper@elfhood.org to ask about availability – there will be only a small amount, so if interested let us know asap. We will most likely have spinach, lettuce, kale, and a few other winter greens available.
