Where is Elfhood?
We exist in many locations – elfhood is not a place so much it is a state of consciousness. The Heartwood Centre is the location where the organization of Elfhood is physically located and where we organize our sly divine mischief.
The Heartwood Centre
We are currently in the process of renovating, re-creating and building the wilderness sanctuary and home known as “The Heartwood Centre” to create space for living, community, programs, workshops, guests, organic dining, de-programming, being, and play. We envision this place as a home for us and a few other planetary brother and sister elves, with spaces for Elfhood UnSchül and Camp Heartwood Mystery. Our long-term goal is to create a sustainable centre to house a small community dedicated to serving our fellow humans and realizing the self. More than anything, Heatwood is a place to offer silence and space, so that ourselves and others may de-activate the suppression matrix and eventually realize the Sovereign Integral state of consciousness. We offer space for us to become the Elves of our heart’s imagining.

The Heartwood Centre is located in Canada, in the province of Ontario, near the towns of Minden & Haliburton, one hour north of Peterborough, 2.5 hours from Toronto. This place is the center from which the organization of Elfhood emerges. Here we grow organic food, meditate with the T r e e – K e e p e r s and the Spirit of Old Turtle, form Foundations, build Frames, re-build larger Frames, and offer healing, facilitation, education, co-creation, space and silence to ourselves and others. Here at the Heart of the Wood, we realize our – s elves.
Situated along a river-valley that cuts through the wild and rugged beauty of the Canadian Shield, this enormous sanctuary is graced by both a creek and 33 acre pond with its own island. The island has named itself Avalon and is the future site of a healing temple dedicated to the discovery of the Inner s-Elf. Trails meander through the undulating, rocky Heartwoods, to the Hill where the Circle of Seven meet at the Round Table, and back to Buddha’s Gardens, where the squash, kale, kohlrabi, oregano,
stevia & other vegetables and herbs grow with loving help from the Earth Elementals and the Garden Keeper.
The ecology of this sanctuary is highly diversified and is home to a wide variety of species, from the giant water bug to catfish, water snake, moose, bear, turtle, nuthatch, kingfisher and wolverine. The property borders hundreds of thousands of acres of forests, lakes and wetlands of Crown Land.
H e a r t w o o d is a place to re-connect with the intelligences of Earth; the spirit of the Heron, the laughter of Crow, the industry of Beaver, the playfulness of Otter, the mastery of Mosquito, the alertness of Deer, the faith of Chickadee, the guardianship of Dragonfly, the embrace of the Forest, and the Questing of Owl.
